Vesna Zeta Mimiça

En los últimos años he realizado una serie de video/proyecciones, (sin que por ello me considere una artista de video/arte),  sobre instalaciones construídas con tules.  Grandes  pantallas de metacrilato y tul,  bosques de acero inoxidable  sobre césped blanco, también de tul, además de algunas otras propuestas El uso de este material no es casual, por una parte resultan obvias las connotaciones del mismo (develar, cubrir,, sugerir)  y por otra tiene la propiedad de difuminar la luz y las sombras, lo que resulta muy sugerente a la hora de proyectar imágenes.  La temática ha sido recurrente: el Alma,  la Identidad y la Transformación.

During the last decade, I have presented a series of video/projections (while not consider myself a video/artist) over tulle/gauze /veil installations. Large Perspex and tulle screens, a forest of trees created in steel and tulle sitting in a turf of white tulle, as well as proposals for other settings.  The use of this material is not accidental; on the one hand the connotations of the use of a veil are obvious (beyond the veil, take the veil) on the other, the properties of the material, which blurred light and shadow, resulting in a very appropriate media to project images.  The thematic ‘leitmotif ‘ remains: Identity, Soul and Transformation.
